What to Bring With You

What to bring with you

Smart, casual, comfortable clothes are what most people wear at Torquay International School.

Items you should bring with you at any
time of year.

Tuition material and books are provided at the school and you may borrow books (in English) free of charge from the school Library.

Walking shoes – although there is a good bus service, life in Torquay is less dependent on the car than life in e.g., Mexico City. You may also want to join one of our walking tours and remember, Torquay is built on 7 hills.

An umbrella is advisable.

Alarm clock – you might need this to be sure you get to school on time!

Travel adaptor for electric plugs - remember we have different electric plugs from anywhere else in the world.

Laptop Computer – the school has wireless throughout so you will be able to use your laptop. There is also a small internet centre which you may use free of charge.

Cellphone – we sell telephone cards at the school but you might want to bring your own phone with you.
